How do you show love to others? What is your way of telling someone, I love you? On Christmas …birthdays…Valentines day? Ponder about this question for a moment. There is a revelation I will tell you about all the ways you’ve shown others in the past, that reveals your true love language.
When on the adventure of dating and” partner shopping”, Getting to know yourself first is preferrable at the very least. Its kind of like dating yourself. How do you want a person to get to know you, talk on the phone at first and ask you what your favorite color is, and favorite movie, etc… correct? You must know the correct answers for yourself so when you find that lovable partner, and they ask you these questions, they will be 100% accurate when they go to the store and buy you your valentines day gifts!
My goal is to enlighten you to understand how valuable it is to love and understand yourself and how you operate in relationship with self, so that when it is safe for you to love, you will be able to give a lover the passwords to your heart and know for certain it is the right decision. Pour into your cup often to ensure you are self fulfilled and have a happy relationship with yourself. Yourself is on a mission to you first, and foremost God’s will , so that you can go on and fulfill your mission and purpose.
You must be taken care of first, absolutely you must be selfish, in order to be selfless. You must have first something of importance to give in abundance in the first place. So what makes you so special?
Write it down, and say in the mirror everyday over and over why God has you here in the first place, you know you are great! Tell yourself why over and over until you are full of yourself knowing, then you will have the Odessite to fill another’s cup because yours has runneth over, then its time to tithe and do a blessings blitz! Could it be your time volunteering with family, a church, or you may have exceptional singing skills!? You’ve mastered them yet? Once you have its time to show the world baby, and be a blessing to others!
It’s highly recommended to know your love language and the password to your heart, so that when you meet the one to pour into, it may very well be your crafts or skills… it will be a mutually beneficial choice and long lasting and they will fill your cup back up and pour into you also as well.
First to find your love language, you must ask: What have you done for you lately? What do you do during your time alone? It is a question not maybe not much asked but surely is an important phenomenon to discover and make a daily routine from here on out…
What is it? A bubble bath with sweet smelling candles, art, singing, rapping, inventing, fixing cars, gardening, journaling and automated writing? Heaven Plug’s salt bath cleansing jars, shopping, ice cream sundaes? Whatever your me time is that is your way of telling yourself “I love me”, pouring into yourself. Its what you work on tirelessly, without pay or recognition. Simply because its your passion outwards. Its what drives you.
To pour into yourself, you have to feed yourself daily good positive self talk, like I am the best!, or I am an important person! Once you do this often daily, a least 3x a day, you’ll see the world reflecting back to you confirmation of what you’ve input into your positive self talk, and the universe will most definitely requit all the lovely traits you’ve instilled inside you and will confirm it , no doubts! The universe will send a blessing that resonates with your will power to pour into you and to confirm you’re doing a good job, keep going! Now that’s true love, you’ll see! Keep loving yourself and see the magic happen!
So What if the person is absolutely Heaven sent, and may actually like staying in, like to read, and like the color yellow just like you AND the same flavor ice cream?? You’d probably say, wow we have soo much in common! They already have a similarity, I think you should get to know them more or it is safe because they passed a silent test to your heart, they already have one thing or more in common. Go on
a date, or 3 if you like and then see if they are telling you the same amazing things you tell yourself, and making you feel the greatest thoughts you feel about yourself. If yes, they may understand your love language.
So did you remind yourself of all the things you’ve done for others in the past and shown them love? Good news! This is your love language. That is how you are best to show love to yourself, and also receive love. So, in the present or future, be sure to teach your partner, lovers and friends on how to “treat” you show you love and reward you , and in turn that is how they will be ”treated” and rewarded with love, by you. Amen.
